The first version of Logcam was built part-time from May 2015 to January 2016. The inspiration came from the movie, Avatar (2009) where Sam Worthington does video logging. Even though there is a video recording feature in the iOS Camera app, it is difficult to organize videos and associate additional data for each entry.
I focused on completing basic features for video recording, tagging meta data, and creating intuitive UI in the first version. The subsequent releases will include more advanced features such as iCloud synchronization, iPad support, themes, video editing, etc.
I couldn't have done it if it wasn’t for support from my friends, open source projects, and various resources.
Thanks to my good friend Mateo Zlatar (http://mateozlatar.com/) for designing Logcam's app icon. Thanks to those who tried out the app during beta testing and provided valuable feedback.
